Dear Sir/Madam,

Having lived and been involved in the communities of District 21 for over ten years.  I have worked as an advocate for women and children as well as for small business owners.  As an evangelical minister and a local homeowner I have always worked for positive growth in our district.

I believe in putting families first and making your concerns my number one priority.  My family and I feel that the time has come for me to seek an elected State Senate seat.  I want to bring positive solutions to the issue of the growing blight in our communities and work closely with all political, community and private leaders to bring about a more promising future for our district.

I have always been very concerned about the health and safety of our communities children and their families.  I believe there are workable solutions available for many issues facing us all including the need for industry that will bring good paying jobs back to our district. Higher paying job opportunities will enhance our way of life and improve the economic growth in all our cities.

I would also like to see . . .

•           Easy access to health and dental care including well checks of all dependent children.

•           Improved safety in our neighborhoods and schools.

In order to serve the people of district 21, which includes cities in Northern Los Angeles County: Santa Clarita Valley, Antelope Valley, parts of San Bernardino County: Victor Valley, Hesperia and Apple Valley, I must conduct an aggressive campaign.

My opponent will bring to the table more of the same . . . over spending, over taxing and more job killing programs.  For these reasons, I feel I must step forward and take action to prevent this from happening.

Supporting my candidacy will offer our district a positive choice of new leadership. For my campaign to be successful, it will require a strong, well prepared grassroots organization. I need your help to accomplish this goal.

We are already moving forward with our get out the vote efforts, voter education program and community advocacy.  We need to produce a variety of materials including brochures, flyers, yard signs, radio and  electronic advertising in order to reach out to potential voters of our district, I cannot do it all alone. That’s why I’m reaching asking community leaders to get involved in my campaign and help make a big difference in the future of our district.

Your early contribution, made payable to Maggie Campbell for State Senate 2016, will give our race a tremendous boost.  Your gift of $25, $50, $100, $250, $500 or $4,000 will help raise the initial funds needed to launch my campaign.

Our goal is to raise $75,000 by February 28, 2014.  I ask for your support in this great challenge. May I count on you to help me meet this goal? You may donate on line or download a remit envelope from my website that you can use it to return your personal check and help me bring better government to the people of district 21. Thank you in advance for your encouragement and support.

                                                            Sincerely,

                                                            Maggie Campbell
